ES7243
The es7243 platform allows your ESPHome devices to use the ES7243 stereo audio ADC
(datasheet). This allows attached microphones to be used as a
microphone input via I2S Audio. The chip is found on the ESP32-LyraT-Mini.
The ES7243 is a different chip from the ES7243E, with its own register map and
a different default I²C address (0x13 instead of 0x10). Use this platform for boards whose schematic lists an
ES7243 without the E suffix.
The I²C bus is required in your configuration as this is used to communicate with the ES7243.
The chip only answers on I²C after it has received a clock on its MCLK input, so the
I2S Audio bus it is attached to must set i2s_mclk_pin. The platform pulses that pin
during setup and the I2S peripheral drives it afterwards.

Section titled “Configuration Variables”-
mic_gain (Optional, enum): The gain applied to the ADC microphones. One of
1dB,3.5dB,18dB,20.5dB,22.5dB,24.5dB,25dBor27dB. Defaults to27dB. -
i2s_audio_id (Optional, ID): The ID of the I2S Audio bus whose
i2s_mclk_pinclocks the chip. Required when more than one bus is configured. -
address (Optional, int): The I²C address of the driver. Defaults to
0x13. -
i2c_id (Optional): The ID of the I²C bus the ES7243 is connected to.
